CertiK gets funding from Binance Labs
CertiK, a cybersecurity startup providing smart contract and blockchain audits, has received “several millions” in funding from Binance Labs, crypto exchange Binance’s US$1bil social impact fund.
The firm, founded by Yale and Columbia academics last year, did not disclose in a press release the amount that Binance Labs invested.
CertiK is already using the DeepSpec technology to verify audits of smart contracts for several top blockchain companies.
The technology was introduced after a research collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale, Princeton and University of Pennsylvania.
Other investors that have put money into CertiK include the bitcoin mining rig manufacturer Bitmain, Kenetic, DHVC and Arrington XRP Capital.
