Synthetic Minds raises US$5.5mil
Synthetic Minds, a San Francisco-based startup working on automated audits for smart contracts, has raised US$5.5mil in a seed funding round.
The firm, which graduated from the Y Ventures’ summer accelerator programme, announced that the funds were raised from Pantera Capital and Khosla Ventures. Synthetic Minds was also a recipient of funding from Y Ventures earlier.
Synthetic Minds says the funding will be used to make programme synthesis, which is the underlying system used for auditing the smart contracts, mainstream.
The firm also says in a tweet that the funding will be used for hiring.
